Navigating a Cyber Crisis: Prevention, Response, Moving Forward will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the I2C building on the campus of The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). The event is being hosted by Amplified Security, Move Digital Group, and Prose & Pens.
As the need for technology increases, so does the threat of attacks and breaches. No matter the size of a business, any type of cyber-attack can leave your short- and long-term operations in a tailspin, diminish employee morale, and cause a loss in trust among clients. Knowing how to implement preventative measures is the first line of defense. Still, disruptions happen. When they do, being able to respond quickly and appropriately while continuing to move operations forward becomes imperative.
“The purpose of this workshop is to help companies prepare for and respond effectively to hacks,” explains Laurie Heard, president of Move Digital Group. “That way, they can not only protect their businesses but also maintain public trust.”
The event discussion will cover a range of topics including technical prevention strategies and effective response protocols during a cyber crisis; the role of digital marketing in rebuilding trust and brand image post-crisis, and the importance of clear, accurate communication to stakeholders before, during, and after a cyber crisis.
The cost of registration is $15.00 per person and includes lunch.
